• Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program (SNAP) gives funds for low-income families to pay for food.
• The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children provides endowments  to states, gives nutritious foods, education on nutritious food, and treatment help to pregnant women in low- income families and also to infants and children till age 5 who are at risk of malnutrition.
