Project Initiation is one of the most preliminary Stages in project management or project life cycle, which provides inspiration for the business project to be started. Project initiation is the first step of a project’s life cycle. It is at this point where the opportunity or reason for the project is being identified and a project is developed to take advantage of that opportunity.

Work across all the related functional boundaries that in turn will helps to Develop work breakdown structures. Meeting time constraints along with budget and Calculated risk. Establishment of a dependable project control and monitoring system
Project managers are required to choose a project management tool that best suits their management style. No one tool can meet all project-related needs. The most commonly used tools in Project initiation are Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) and CPM(critical path method).
