ANS- Cyberbullying causes emotional distress, psychological distress. Children feel anxiety, they have low self-esteem, sometimes they are in depression, they are afraid to meet people. Physical symptoms are also seen in the children, they are not able to concentrate on their studies. Children who are the victims of Cyberbullying do not feel safe, they think they are powerless, they are vulnerable. As this bullying is done on their phones, laptops, etc, they find difficult to escape from that situation. They feel that bullying is everywhere.
Cyberbullying happens round the clock, it never stops and victims do not find the support of their friends in the case of Cyberbullying because they know that victims are exposed in a huge crowd and friends do not want to be a part of these problems.
Examples of cyber bullying- Sending mean texts to someone, prank via phone calls, hacking someone's profile, being rude, spreading rumors, making fake profiles on social media and trouble someone, harassing someone, threatening someone by sending messages that are mean.
Reducing Cyberbullying- One should not respond to the calls or messages, an individual should save the evidences in case things get extended, reaching out to friends for help, discussing with parents, account protection is important too.
