Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer)

Change is needed as there could be a need for device configuration and such configuration would help the network administrator for verifying the changes would be made to the network devices and would be with regards to any pre-existing configuration. This would help in verifying the changes.

The change management is meant for processing and helping the transition of the organization and also help the employee in understanding the change, to accept or commit any change in the business environment.

Example: Use of switch would be used for data forwarding at the network layer instead of using the MAC address

There are many risk associated if the change is not managed, as it might lead to many obstacles in the most unexpected way, the project could be put to hold or abandoned, the resources could not be made available etc.

Some of the importance of a change management for separate duties is to understand the category, to have a role for a change, to check the definition for that of change management. This would help in assigning the risk properly and elevating the business or the IT team to work for one goal with varied working mechanism/roles.
