Will the 5 components of an information system still be applicable when machine learning and robotic technology becomes omnipresent (i.e. universal)? Why or why not?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Yes,definitely the components of information system will be still applicable after the machine learning and robotic technology will become universal as all the service, maintenance and handling of these automatic machines will be done with the help of 5 components of information system only to get this understood we will discuss all 5 components of it and see how these are applicable-:

1)Hardware of computer-This is the type which we can touch and are parts of machine in short terms physical components works with information and it does not matter about size of hardware it can be robot which is made up of technologies related parts and can be small as mobile.Hardware includes chips, microprocessors, disk drivers etc. to make Robots for the use.

2)Software of Computer-Software is the one which we can only feel and software tells the hardware of computer to what function needed to be done such as windows which operates computer hardware system just like this only Software need to be designed through various programming languages for designing of the robot.

3)Telecommunications-Robot or any automation technology can only work with the help of internet and telecommunication system will help the robot to work to get data from the servers.

4)Databases-It is called as a storage house where all the data is stored and used whenever needed by the robots as they need to collect the data in databases and execute accordingly.

5)Human resources-Yes,we still need the humans to manage the technology, find bugs and errors and maintain the proper functioning of robots and update it regularly when needed.
