Choose any three behaviors that human in contemporary society display. Analyze each behavior according to an evolutionary psychology perspective. Ho may have evolution shaped this behavior? What was or is this behavior’s purpose? How does it aid our ability to reproduce and pass on our genes to the next generation? Is this behavior still adaptive in modern society? End with a short evaluation of how helpful you found the evolutionary perspective to be in understanding these three behaviors.

Evolutionary Psychology perspective: It is a natural selection process thus having adaptive abilities and also increasing the reproductive success of human beings.

Assertive people are the ones who chooses to define their opinions and paying respect to other people.

Aggressive people tends to be violent in nature with an intention to harm others . Males are more aggressive as compared to women. Its the natural selection , where the brains of the males and females are designed to perform in a specific way.

Passive are the ones who do not wish to share their opinions.

Passive are the ones who do not state their opinions .

Purpose of behaviour :

It seeks to see which of the psychological traits that are evolved . The main focus of the evolutionary theory are humans . The main purpose involved is the evolution of the human beings through the natural selection process.

The passing of the genes is possibel through the reproduction process. It is thereby passeed from one generation to another. The traits of the parents are passed to their offsprings. The evolution take splace through natural selection and the persons having the ability to adapt themselves in agiven situation.

Yes , it is carried on in the next generation as well. It cannot be stopped. Yes it is adaptive in nature.
