Contemporary technology issues: Human cloning and (AI) in terms of ethic and religion (any religion) (chapter10)
In my perspective, the ethical consequences of replacing human experts with machine learning like artificial intelligence would be adverse.
If we embrace more artificial intelligence technology, the organization will become less ethical in decision-making.
It is so because the removal of human expertise for artificial intelligence will decrease the employment opportunities for the people. There would be job loss for the people living in the society, which would reduce their level of income and, consequently, the standard of living for the whole community.
Furthermore, it would also widen the wealth gap between the rich and the poor.
Moreover, artificial intelligence would work without any emotions or sentiments, as it is a machine. They can not think on their own. If we talk about ethics at the personal level, it works according to the inner feeling of what is right and wrong. That emotional feeling would be missing in any machine. Thus, it would not be able to perform and think about the social obligations while performing the decision-making process for any business compared to any human expert.
So, after adopting such types of machine learning techniques for decision-making, the organizations will become less ethical.
A Thumbs Up! Would be really helpful for me. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
