The growing interdependence of socially, politically, economically, and legally diverse countries is causing firms to revise operating policies and strategies. Explain how to create a uniform code of ethics and what to include in it that is applicable to any business operating in any culture?
That is true that the growing interdependence of politically, socially, legally and economically diverse countries is making the organisations to regulate and revise operating strategies and policies. A uniformly established code of ethics can be created and practically applied in the organistaion to make the business operate in a culture where everyone could work happily and feel satisfied in their jobs. To establish such a healthy culture, all these steps should be established:
1. Diversity: In every organisation, to promote healthy cultural practices, diversity should be practiced and should be mentioned at their code of ethics at large. By creating and maintaining a workforce from different diversity and backgrounds, a strategies workforce could be developed where people are joined from all cultures and thus, new ideas , designs, innovation and creativity could be seen coming in the organisation to make people feel unique and valued in the organisation.
2. Inclusion: Another concept talks about inclusion. Inclusion means to include people. To create a healrhy culture in the organisation, steps should be taken to make people include within the work. Empowerment should be created at large where decisions from all the people are accepted and valued and people feel included irrespective of different backgrounds.
3. Training and Development: At last, training and development should be provided to make employees feel united. To make the workforce work towards a strategic goal, employees should feel united and and thus training regarding different cultures, activities, languages and tasks should be provided to make them learn about the best sustainable outcomes.
