In conducting my research it became quite clear that there are many good options to choose from. Solutions such as Microsoft Projects which can help with project management. The tool can help with project scheduling, costing, resource management, reporting & business intelligence, and project timelines. The pricing range is $30 month/user for cloud platform, from $1,159 for on-site software (for one PC) The tool is a wonderful option because of the availability of the cloud option in addition to having the program added to the user PC. Two other great options are WRIKE is solution that gives insight into team’s workload, deadlines, reporting, and project planning. Users can also attachfiles; follow real-time newsfeed and activity stream.WRIKE also allows high level visibility with dashboards. I’m drawn to the tools that have dashboard capability because of the quick views into the projects and team activity. Dashboards are a huge plus to me. Have the ability to stay up to date on where everyone is on their task is key to moving a project along and spotting red flags. WRIKE is free for small teams and cost $9.80 a month for teams of 5+ users.
