Digital transformation is refered to the integration of digital technology into various sections of the business which absolutely results in the coceptual and fundamental changes in the way a business would operate and how they would essentiallu deliver the value to their final customers using the best of resources available.
To explain this concept in a detailed manner, let's take the example of Amazon. Amazon has revolutionsed the buying and selling process by changing the traditional mode of buying to revealing and bringing a new eccomerce section in the society. It changed the way the business performs the operations in providing the customer the most unique and best products and services at their home. By making customer free from hassle of the traffic, going out in the sun and searching the shops for their needs, at Amazon you can get anything you think of right in a tap of button. It made the customer experience and their expectations rise up to a level where now they prefer ecommerce over any traditional method of buying. They could effectively pay the prices at their home or online, check where the goods teached via technological integration of supply chain management and even order anything from inside or outside the country. It shaped and gave the customer power to do anything with their mobile or laptop. Providing essential feedback and reaching them to make an impact, Amazon has immensely changed the lives of customers and thus made effectivity and efficiency both reach to its highest.
