Technologies such as Artificilal Intelligence (A!), Cloud Computing, Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things(IoT) and Robortic Process Automation(RPA) advancing in a fast pace, transforming the business and management processes. These technologies bring significant value to businesses by improving process efficiencies, decreasing manual efforts, and saving costs significantly.

The term IR4.0 was intrroduced by the German Government in 2011 to promote the digitalization of manufacturing processes. Currently we witness an era of technological revolution, where industries primarily focus on digital transformation by developing and implementing advanced technologies.

As IR4.0 completely changes the way we work and communicate, there is going to be a significant change in the future job profiles. Repetitive work and processes within a standardized framework are going to be replaced with AI and RPA technologies. Instead, there will be an increasing need for personnel that have skills to develop these technologies. Also the employees must be able to adapt to the changing technologies to be able to use and interact with the advanced systems.

Defiinitely, there should be a set of personnel that possess the knowledge to laydown the logic and framework for the development of efficient technologies. For example, for the development of AI technologies that automates the financial audit analytics, the framework and process flow must be defined as per the accounting standards, which can be only guided by a subject expert. However, the demand for such job profiles are already coming down. At the same time, there is a growing demand for software engineers and technology professionals. 40% os the technology spend in 2019 was towards digital transformation of organizations. Also, there will be huge demand for technicians that deploys and maintains softwares solutions in organizations.

The education system must change according to cater to this change in demand for resources. Even though industries such as healthcare, art and recreation are least likely to be digitalized, to cater to other vast majority of inductries' changing demands, education system must enable the students to adapt and bring value to industries through digitalization.

Students must be familiarized with advanced techmnologies, its development, and possibilities of advancements to make best out of opportunities IR4.0 era. Focus must be given to produce technology knowlege experts, critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators.
