reliable results. If the evaluator has some sort of bad attitude
that could lead to problems in the working environment of the
business so eliminating that would be altogether beneficial for the

There isn't much when it comes to the cons of eliminating
performance appraisals. One can say that if performance appraisals
are eliminated then there is a need for a better way to evaluate an
employee which we don't have right now but the real problem is that
employees do not want any kind of performance appraisals in the
first place so whatever we do it is always going to backfire. One
con is that some employees used performance appraisals as a
motivating factor for them to work better, So if there is no
performance appraisal then those employees could be disappointed.
