Many organizations use performance appraisals to decide on promotions.
Do you think this is fair? What are some factors tht would make it less for for employees?
Performance appraisal are aimed at increasing the efficiency and development of employees by identifying the strengths and areas in which workers need to be improved. Estimates also show that working time is exceptional and can motivate employees. If we are truly created and implemented, I think that this could be a good way for organizations to choose promotions. However, it is not difficult to be considered unfair, and the employer must be careful to avoid it. The biggest problem is the appraisal bias. If this is felt, the rating will lose the trust of all employees and will not do so.
