Civil right of a person is the basic rights, those are right to vote, employment, housing, education and justice, Th main goal of the civil right movement was to abolish Jim crows law which had segregated white Americans and African American or American Indian who had inhabited this land, long before European Americans  Through nonviolent protest, the civil rights movement of the 1950s and ’60s broke the pattern of public facilities’ being segregated in the South and achieved the breakthrough in their rights , 1965 the law came into force allowing Afro American to vote,

Before civil right, African slaves and indentured servants did not have the happiness and basic amenities of life, and where racial inequality in education, economic opportunity, and the political and legal processes was most blatant. and local governments passed segregation laws, that left the black population economically and politically powerless. The movement categorically addressed three areas of segregation those are education, social segregation and voting rights, The century-old struggle show its first ray of hope in the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court decision which outlawed racial segregation in public schools. But in the South region, this decision was condemned by whites sometimes resorting to violence. The highlighted southern struggle led to boycott of city buses in protest of the policy of segregated seating. The college-age -blacks too entered the struggle by desegregating lunch counters in the colleges, As the movement gathered momentum few liberal whites too joined blacks in their struggle, by boarding commercial buses in Washington D.C. It was a successful struggle, After a series of legal cases in the late 1960s, the federal courts finally dismantled segregated schools. They brought both black and white under one roof.

Although Equality, a simple thing, but those in the fringes would try to anger or berate others into seeing slights not present. Or blame the long distant past, rather than self-actions, for no advancement.,Equality promises a bright future combined with the struggle to achieve the fruit of century-old struggle, Despite the hardship and prejudice  several black entertainers and literary figures gained broad popularity with a white audience, Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals,

It became a mandate of law, that everyone be treated equally under the law. Certain things, such as housing, open to all, no special treatment based upon skin color, gender, etc. But like any action, there will always be those on the fringes, pitching woe, either for or against it. Observers maintain that the movement has a mixed legacy. It produced major legislation that reformed American society. It opened up new political, social, and economic opportunities to blacks. Veterans of the movement, however, lament that it fell short of addressing the economic needs of poor Americans,
