Compose a post that answers one of the following questions (make sure to indicate which one you're addressing).
1) Do you believe that animals have rights? If so, do all animals have rights? What is the basis for these rights? If not, why not? Based on your answer, what (if any) responsibilities do businesses have towards animals and/ or the environment?
2) Do you believe that we can ascribe economic value to the environment? If so, how would we do this?
3) Who do you think should pay for pollution, and why?
Answer 1) Yes, animals have rights. They are also human beings and they also have a right to survive. Yes, all animals have rights. They contribute a lot to our environment. Some of the animal rights are no hunting, no experiments, no zoos for entertainment, no use for hard labor. Businesses are good for economic growth and they should make sure that they do no harm to animals. They have the right to survive as they live in forests and have their own houses. If they do no harm to humans then even humans should do no harm to them.
Answer 2) Animals provide valuable resources that increase the economic value to the environment. Animal husbandry is used in our agriculture sector to provide daily resources like vegetables and fruits. People also keep animals as pets that produce milk. They nurture them by providing proper food and then they produce milk which is then sold in the market. Cow milk and buffalo milk are very popular milk in the industry.
Answer 3) Companies who pollute the environment should pay for the pollution. Polluting the environment harms animals and humans. There is a certain percentage over which pollution is not acceptable. If it does, then the penalty or legal action can be taken against that. If strict actions are not taken against pollution, then the industries will keep polluting the environment.
