An ethical dilemma is defined as a situation where an individual is required to make a decision between two possible moral imperatives and choosing either of them would have consequences for not choosing another. It is because when a person has to decide between two options, he can only choose one and ignore another.
In my opinion, an ethical dilemma is a situation that an individual keeps encountering in the business. When a person is posed with an ethical dilemma, he must choose the best alternative among both and reject the one where the consequences are minimal. It can be understood with an example, a person is answerable to two different individuals of the organization whose needs are odds with each other. In this case, serving one party will injure the other party. Therefore, there exists an ethical dilemma for a person. The best possible course of action would be rejecting the one where consequences are minimum.
