a. strategic management is an evolution and a destination because as comparison with traditional management, it is a continuous process and work according to current situation for making decision. this flexibility helps an organisation for longer survival and earning profits. as real world environment is dynamic, traditional management has its limitation to work according to new challenges where as strategic management helps in foreseeing future challenges and make plans for them in advanced. that's why strategic management is an evolution.
b. apple Inc. is a strategic management:
1. with increase in competition in market, apple Inc. planned to expand their business even having largest market share, by introducing manufacturing unit and first apple store in India because of having 2nd largest population in the world and more than 65% of population is below the age of 35.
2. apple Inc. follows the differentiation strategy for standing out in the market and has different strategy based on geographic conditions. having different products range, elegant looks, luxury product and most important factor innovation, which helps apple Inc. to grab the most of the market.
3. high investment in research & development and main focus on product development.
