Internet is set of machine/server/connecting device which communicate with each other sharing knowledge among them

In Internet sub networks are connected to each other and form world level network called internet

Internet connection get from wired or wireless network. Wireless network get from tower of network provider which can able to access internet on our device. in Wired network we required Modem which come with router now days. Modem has input from internet provider in the form of wired connection and distribute network to users from wireless network.

How does the wiring work ?

Wiring is reliable way internet communication. For connection we required RJ45 connector CAT5 or CAT6 Cable. For connection slot required Ethernet slot that available and end device like switch or computer or laptop.

wiring connect devices to each other though centralized switch. Switch is multi port device which can able to connect all devices to each other. switch get wired connection from modem for internet distribution.

how does the system connect to the internet ?

Now connection get setup through wired or wireless network but for accessing internet we required set of configuration information like IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS. all these information set on device should be match with parent connection devices like switch, router or modem. IP address uniquely identify each devices of network. hence IP address should be unique. IP address can manually assigned or set automatically by setting DHCP at parent devices.
