Expert Solution

During an interview, the candidate can increase the confidence by taking steps like

1) Be prepared with the questions that can be asked based on the job description or job role.

2) Have a proper introduction and should be learned by heart.

3) Have a thorough knowledge of the job role for the company.

4) Practice a mock interview at home till you get confident right from entering the room with the interviewer till the time you take a leave from the room.

Candidate's strength - Having a leadership quality, working in teams, taking initiative. These are some of the strengths that can impress the interviewer at the time of the interview.

Candidate's Weakness - Fear of asking for help. Sometimes, it takes a lot of time for the completion on the project because they don't ask for help. It saves time too but usually not asked by a candidate as he may feel that other employee gets disturbed in his work.

The three things a candidate can do for a positive impression are:

1) Be on time at the interview - The candidate must reach the interview on time. He should not reach too early. Early 10-15 minutes can be a good impression on the interviewer.

2) Wear proper attire - The candidate must be properly dressed for the interview in formals. They should be well ironed and decent colors.

3) Keep a Smile on your face - The candidate must keep a smile on his face so that the interviewer gets a positive feeling about the candidate.

4) Review the job role - The candidate must be aware of the job roles or responsibilities he has applied for. This will create a good impression on the interviewer.
