Organizational design is the method of ranking the structure according to the work in the company. The six elements help the directors of the company to structure the organization in the company.
Work specialization
First of all, the operators of the company divide the work into different departments by selecting the staff according to the specialty of the work.
Department and compartment
The company is divided into small departments like marketing, accounts, suppliers etc. according to the task and the target. The combination of department consider as a compartment.
Chain of command
In every department, each employee's accountability to others is fixed. A head of every department is made who reports the work of his department to the management and controls the work of his department.
Span of control
The company also identifies the functionality of each of its employees. If there are more employees under one employee then the quality of work will be reduced. If there are 32 employees in a department, then first they should be placed under four supervisors in a group of 8 people. Place the manager over the supervisor
Centralization of the company
The centralization of the company is also done to decide how and what to do in the company and to conduct the work which controls all the departments and provides them the means to achieve the goal. This centralization also connects the company with customers.
Strategy
the another point that manager should consider while designing an organisation structure is a strategy of the organisation there should make or design the structure according to the aim of the organisation. they should consider the main aim of the company and make the structure so that company achieve success very soon
