With a minimum of 300 words, describe the difference between the AutoFilter and the Advanced Filter features. Provide an example of a situation when it would be beneficial to use one feature over the other.

Auto Filter-

It is a feature which is used to filter more than one column of data.You can filter based on choices you make from a list, or search to find the data that you seek. When you filter data, entire rows will be hidden if the values in one or more columns don't meet the filtering criteria. For example if teacher has a data of students and their marks he can use the auto filter to arrange the score of students in asending or descending order.

Advance Filter-

This feature can be uesd to create a list of unique items, or to extract specific items to a different worksheet. You can also use complex criteria with an Advanced Filter, so it is useful when a simple AutoFilter can't do.For example if a teacher has data of students for two 3 semisters and wants to know who is the over all topper of the class over the three semisters the the teacher can select the range of data and select the criteria to get the data.
