I'm working on a resource activity plan and a budget for a project proposal. I'm needing help with the resource activity plan and the budget. The project proposal is for a Walmart in my state. The store manager is the one that does all the scheduling for 340 employees. The budget for the project is 1,000,000 million dollars. The idea proposed is getting a group of eight assistant managers to come together to make schedules for the employees. Each assistant manager will be assigned an department to make schedules for. The client is Jamie, the sponsor of the project is Charles. The project manager is Jennifer. HR picked the assistant managers that are avaliable to sit down for sixty minutes per week to create a week's worth of schedules. The team includes the eight assistant managers, which are Jennifer, Sharron, Jake, Robert, Michael, Larry, Selena, Kendra. To make this team work they will be trained using video scheduling system training and they will be tested electronically. Jamie is store manager, larry is front end, michael is over fruits and veg, jake is over apparel, selena is over stationary, robert is over home, kendra is over sporting goods and lawn and garden, jennifer is over frozen food and groceries, and sharron is over stocking. The project starts on April 4th and ends on June 4th.
First of all as there are total 340 Employess whose scehdule is made by thr Store Manager JAMIE and its a very time consuming activity by one person to make schdeule of akk 340 employess in the system and the budget of the project is 1,000,000 million dollars .
Let us say as there are 8 assistant managers which are proposed to come together and make schedules for their paritcular team members .The best part here will be as when there would be Teams divided among the Assistant Managers then there would be following benefits-
1; Time Saving- Alot of time will be saved if there would be teams made and a particular assistant manager will be assigned among that very teams.
2; More Productivity - When there would be Proper Scheduled made for every employee by there managers then the productivity will also be enhances and shoot up.
3; Lesser load on the Store Manager- Automatically if the schedule and planning of the task for the day would be done properly by Assistant Managers automatically there would be lesser load on the Store Manager and he can give his best in some other work .
4; Proper Utilisation of resources - As resources are always limited whether it is a big or small compay so if there would be systematic planning for the day and task done my managers automatically there would be proper utilisation of resources.
5 ; Less wastage in Store- Systematic and properly designed work leads to lesser wastage of resources and manpower .
As the Budget of the Product is 1,000,000 million dollars and project is for 3 months that is from 4th April 2020 to 4th Jun 2020 so the monthly Budget we have for the project is 333,333.3 million dollars .
We have 8 Assistant Managers - Jennifer, Sharron, Jake, Robert, Michael, Larry, Selena and Kendra who will be handling as Larry is front end, Michael is over fruits and veg, Jake is over apparel, Selena is over stationary, Robert is over home, Kendra is over sporting goods and lawn and garden, Jennifer is over frozen food and groceries, and Sharron is over stocking.
So accordingly seeing the Manpower Required in every team or department we can distribute the people accordingly also to make this team work they will be trained properly using video scheduling system training so that they can guide there team the right and the best way for the effective result .Moreover they will be tested electronically also .
The Budget amount 333,333.3 million dollars will be divided equally amongst the 8 departments by the Store Manager Jamie so an amount of 41,667 million dollars will come in every department share and all the expenses and planning would be made accordingly.
The Store Manager and assistant Manager has to first check the budget allocated to Him for the entire project of 3 months and accordingly he/she has to plan their actions.
The entire Monitoring of the Project Should be done by the Store Manager that the entire team uses the budget Wisely and in effective way.
