Answer) Let us understand what Brainstorming is,it is a process of finding a solution to a problem where a group or team come together with lot of ideas one after the other,the whole process depends on ideas ,now when we talk about the rule;Focus on quantity,what we are essientially doing through this rule is that we are providing room for creativity and we are shutting door for judgement,in other words there is no uselss idea in a brainstorming if we follow this rule,if we just follow quality only,people will hesitate to explore out of box ideas fearing ridicule and that will defeat the whole purpose of brainstorming,this rule instead helps group to come up with a lot of ideas out of which few can be extremely effective solutions to given problem.
