According to Locke morality is the inborn feature of men. He believed that property is one of the natural rights of men and can be achieved by labour. Locke States that men possess liberty and freedom. According to him society and family is formed due to nature of men is to works together socially.
According to Locke concept of money, law and property limits are unjust and corrupted because they create insecurity and fear of losing money and property. It also creates the greed, anger, stealth, violence among people in society. humans are rational and capable to make their own decision.
He believed that most important thing for the human is liberty and freedom instead of safety and order. Locke believed that people should be capable to change the unjust and bad government. Locke supported self-government (representative style democracy) on the other hand Rousseau supported the self-government (direct democracy).
on the other hand, Rousseau States that morality is not an inborn characteristic of human and he is born immoral. He only follows instincts. Rousseau, States that property is state of nature and not own men.
Rousseau believes that men cannot achieve absolute freedom because men are slaves of their own desires. He believes that idea of family is created by women further it developed the idea of society. He believed that humans are virtuous in the natural state and becomes corrupt in civilized society.
