Describe what are examples of inputs, processing, ans outputs for the following:
1. computer
2. TV
3. Basketball game

Solutions

Expert Solution

1.) Computer :

Input: We get input from input devices like keyboard, mouse etc. Exp: Two add two numbers we give input using keyboard.

Processing: CPU processes the input to give useful information. Exp, CPU add the two numbers.

Output: Final output get displayed on output devices like monitor, printer etc. Exp Monitor displays the result of addition.

2.) TV :

Input:  We give input using buttons present on remote or on TV(in older versions). TV gets input using light sensor.

Processing: The chips and circuit inside TV processes the input and generates code to select video channels (if channel button is pressed) or do as needed like volume up/down, power-off etc.

Output : It displays the output on TV screen (display and sound).

3.) Basketball game :

Input : The players and ball is the input for the game. Also the referee to judge if everything is right or wrong and audience for moral boosting.

Processing: The game players play the game by passing each other and putting basketball inside basket for scoring goals. As well as referee judging the game and audience cheering for the teams.

Output: We get the final result as loss or win after the end of the game.
