Draw a comparison between the traditional system development methodologies and the agile methodology on the basis of following factors:
1. Project Size
2. People Factor
3. Risk Factors

Answer:

Both methodologies can solve a same problem but the way to tackle the problem is way different on one side the traditional approach have same fixed pattern but other side agile provides flexibility throughout the project.These can be compare on many points. Some of them as required are discussed below:

Comparison b/w Traditional system development methodologies and Agile methodology:

• When we discuss about project size in this method, its large compare to the agile one as in the traditional approach the firm undertakes those project in which they are already experienced so the risk associated with the project are pre-configured. In the agile, comparatively new projects are covered which involves more research and team work so the size of the project is small compare to the traditional one.
• Similarly the team size is large in traditional one as they need to follow the same set of steps from their past experience, but in agile one the team work is more important to solve a new project/problem so it involves less no. of people.
• As you can infer from the above paragraph the risk is less in traditional one (one is experienced in doing the project) ,on the other side the agile one is greater risk as it undertakes a fresh project (not much experienced in doing the same type of project)
