Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company hired you as Marketing Manager of Saudi Arabian Region and you have to answer the below question from your own words:
a. Environmental Analysis (Conduct an environmental analysis that looks at and comments on Saudi Arabia and your network of business contacts, competitors and customers.)
b. Target Market Analysis (Identify the target market, describing how the company will meet the needs of the consumer better than the competition does).
a. Environment Analysis:
Political- Understanding whether the Saudi government is in favor
of Apple entering the market. Is the government there stable or
no?
Economic- Will the return in the market will be high or no.
Checking inflation rates of Saudi, the value of their currency and
exchange rates to be considered too.
Legal- Checking if Apple complies with all legal requirements and
does not infringe any law of Saudi Arabia.
Social- Will importing the products or setting up the manufacturing
unit will be beneficial. This depends upon the behavior of the
people in Saudi,
Technological- Checking if the Saudi market is stable enough and
ready for technological advancements or no.
b. Target Market Analysis:
The people in Saudi are rich and high-class people with huge
spending and purchasing power. They look for technological
advancements and hence penetration for Apple in Saudi Market will
be good. The target audience can be the high-class merchants,
businessmen, and employees who care about outward appearances. The
competition in the Saudi market is not too high as not many
high-end mobile brands are operating in the market and even Huawei
too stopped its production in the country.
