Researchers are interested in testing the effectiveness of their new therapy technique (Explosive Therapy) by comparing it to a standard therapy technique (Cognitive Redecorating), a controversial newer treatment (Ludovico) and a no-treatment (wait list) control. Twelve clients are randomly assigned to the three groups. Blind raters evaluate the “mental health” using a validated instrument yielding scores from 0 to 10, where 0 indicates very poor mental health and 10 represents very good mental health. Perform an ANOVA on these data.
Perform appropriate follow-up test(s) to test for significant differences and include conclusions regarding the effectiveness of the therapy(ies). (20%) Use paper and pencil to calculate the statistics. Please show all work.
