Bangladesh is a country that works under the influence of political parties that are ruling the country from time to time. There are two major parties which have a huge competition among them. These are the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and The Awami League. These two parties come and go in the power and people also work under the influence of the leaders of these political parties. These parties were ruling from time to time and during their rein corruption was at its peak. These parties have ruled between the years 1991 to 2006. The security of the people was also according to the party which they were supporting. After that also there was a tough competition among these parties and with some events lit up unrest among the people and violence broke out in the country during the year 2007. In a country like Bangladesh security of the people is a bit tough task as security is often threatened by non-military actions. in the past few years, the security system is updated and intelligence is used to keep a good environment in the country where the people feel safe. The country has also seen various armed revolts making a huge loss to life and property but the government has taken measurable steps to make the people feel safe and the use for high-end technologies is done for maintaining peace in the country.

In the present time, many countries are facing intense situations due to terrorism, human trafficking, drug dealing, etc. Human trafficking is the most vital among them as the girls and women are at more risk and they are being traded from one country to the other. Bangladesh ahs also saw major terrorist attacks that have made people threatened. The religious militancy is also an alarming situation for the country and this has also made the world think about terrorism. The operating militant groups who are active in Bangledesh have made a tie-up with the international terrorist groups which has become a major concern for the rest of the world. Also, Bangladesh is highly affected by the arms trafficking and the militant groups get arms from the country which has even worsen the situation. This has created a problematic situation all over the world. The country shares its national boundaries wit India and due to religious militancy, India is at high risk due to terrorist activities in Bangladesh. But the government of Bangladesh is working very to get the intelligence information to curtail the terrorist activities in the country.
