According to the Bible, the only moral sex is natural sex. In you post, explain why the Bible takes this view and then explain whether the Marquis de Sade would agree.
Why the Bible takes this view?
The Bible takes this view because according to Bible our gender and natural sexual desires are part of our God-given physical existence. As with all God’s gifts, He has designed them for a purpose. Human sexuality is created by God for His glory, the joy of His creatures and the propagation of the race. So, moral sex is natural sex.
Explain whether the Marquis de Sade would agree.
No, Marquis de Sade would not agree.
Reason: He introduced a new concept of sexual pleasure, which in his time was understood as inciting crime and perversion. He quoted “Let us give ourselves indiscriminately to everything our passions suggest, and we will always be happy. Conscience is not the voice of Nature but only the voice of prejudice.” He used his cynicism to criticize society, because women were ingrained with the idea that they had to be modest and view sex as a bad thing, but at the same time admitted that prostitution was a way to allow men to satisfy their sexual needs. So, his views were anti-Biblical.
