Adulthood results in memory decline because of the changes happening in the rain .Brain functions at lower levels at this age .Research shows that brain starts to lose neurons in the adulthood and the rate of losing is different of every individual.Memory of the individuals in the adult age degenerates and older adults are at more risk . older adults find it very difficult to remember and attend the information in their brain .Mostly affected memory is the working memory. When the working memory is affected then the individuals find it hard to do the complex tasks .This memory decline is more prominent in late adulthood stage according to research

                                                               This general decline is bauces of the three main factors . Reduce speed of encoding . Reduced speed of storage of information . Reduced speed of memory retrieval .It affects the short term memory retention and individuals also find it hard to learn new information .
