What are the implications of expected changes in aging such as declines in working memory capacity and speed of processing with pathological conditions such as anterograde amnesia and precipitous loss of semantic memory.
Few symptoms of memory loss such as forgetfulness, forgetting a phone number, misplacing items, or the name of a street which are usualy used. While aging we frequently undergo physical changes which can result in a hiccup in the brain function. While this occurs it takes us longer to remember things or it takes longer to learn new things, also we are not fast as earlier. This is simple that mental processes get slow and not really a memory loss. Because the brain is unable to produce new brain cells at any age, memory loss is not a cause of aging.
Damage as well as memory impairments in neuropsychology as this connects to functioning of brain is usualy referred to as amnesia. This condition can obvious itself in different extents and is slightly complex, as there are many forms, categories also types of amnesia. This may because of injury, or toxins as well as chemicals. One types of amnesia is an anterograde amnesia, the form of a loss in the learning ability, also new learning of semantics is damaged. Like many others, this form of amnesia is destructing to the individual.
