Name three areas within health care, identify three unique human-technology tools for each of the three areas and explain how they might be used.
The three health care areas are:
1. DENTISTRY:
TOOLS USED ARE:
a. VELscope : This device is used for oral cancer screening. It is used in surgeries.
b. DIGITAL X-RAY: This radiograph helps the dentist to diagnose oral issues in a patient. Digital X- ray pass less radiation to the patient. It is used to detect decay between the teeth as it has laser light radiation.

2. NURSING:
TOOLS USED ARE:
a. BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR: It is used to measure blood pressure in our body. Digital monitors are good for better readings. The digital monitor has a gauge and stethoscope in one unit.
b. HEMOSTAT: It is a tool used in many surgeries. It controls bleeding. It compresses blood flow.
c. REFLEX HAMMER: It is used for neurological disorder. It is used to strike a tendon or muscle.
3. PHYSICIAN :
TOOLS USED ARE:
a. STETHOSCOPE: It is used to listen to the heart beat sounds, lungs and other organs. It can be used to check Blood pressure.
b. CATHETER: It is a tube which drains urine from the bladder. It comes in many sizes. It is in rubber or silicone material.
c. CANNULA: It is used in major operations. They are of 3 types. It is in needle shape. It is inserted into an artery.
