IMPACT OF GATEKEEPING PROCESS

Gatekeeping process lowering the use of health services and reduce the health expenditure. These policies are also an answer to the shortage of specialists. In the primary care physicians want to act as the gatekeeper and also health advisor.

But many specialists are not satisfied with the gatekeeping policies eventough it is to provide quality content. Because the policies are restricting from providing expediting and co-ordinating the needful activities
