After the promulgation of the 2010 constitution, Kenya is now divided into 47 counties for easy administration.

Each county is grouped according to the former province of which they are part of. All the counties in Kenya are led by a governor and a deputy governor.

They form a county government together with the MCAs. Kenya county codes are numbered from 1 to 47.
