1)Reasearch has suggested that as well as a good quality sleep as well as quantity sleep greatly influences cognitive ability. A disturbed sleep is associated with an increased risk of developing a cognitive impairments. A good sleep is necessary to feed our high level, innovative thinking and problem solving abilities. As you sleep memories are reactivated, connection between brain cells are strengthened and information is transferred from short to long term. Without enough quality sleep,we can become more forgetful.
2) Sleep deprivation and altered rhythm affects the cognitive
performance of the individual.Quality of sleep is comprised in
those who are frequently involved in extended working hours and
shift work.
Cognitive impairments lead to fatigability, decline in attention
and efficiency in work which is found to be more common in
nurse's.
3) PICOT QUESTIONS: PICOT stands for
Population/Patient problem.:

Intervention:
