Write an executive summary about ABC Company expanding their manufacturing plants, sales offices, and branches abroad to China. Many Americans, however, have little knowledge about China's culture. Although Americans have little knowledge about China's culture, they can learn to know Chinese culture and adapt themselves to the Chinese environment. Once they have learned the Chinese culture they can succeed in their new business.


Americans know that there are major differences in Chinese culture and this can have a big impact on the growth of business in Chinese environment. For example, numbers have special value and position in Chinese culture. Zero is considered as auspicious when it comes at the end, specifically when it applies to money. Similarly, take the case of color, Chinese people give special importance to red as it is associated with good fortune.


Another factor that Americans should be aware of, is the significance of Lunar calender. There are specific dates on Chinese Lunar calender that are considered as auspicious. So the Western businessmen should be aware of these dates, because many Chinese companies schedule their business meetings or events within these dates.


American people should respect to Chinese opinion about the world and try to adjust themselves with their thinking style. By doing this western people can make local customers happy and raise their company revenue.
One of the important ways to learn Chinese culture is, hire the local people who will assist you in knowing their culture well. Chinese culture is too mysterious to learn, the more you learn, the more you can be acquainted with their system.   


So, in this way Americans can adapt to the Chinese environment and able to succeed in their new business.
