What is Marx's view of communism? Explain Marx's view of income distribution (the extent of income equality) and length of work day. It should also explain Marx’s view of division of labor and his approach to the role of managers and administrators in the full communist stage.
Karl Marx disregarded a system where the people were divided solely by how much monetary value they had. If their monetary value was very high, they were able to possess a power that would ultimately rule over the people who donot have such a high monetary value. Karl Marx disregarded capitalism and knew it had a lot of inherent problems. Engel, another such person, though a capitalist was deeply disturbed by the class division of the society. The society was inherently distributed between people who had money and those who didn't. Both of them decided to pen down their views and published a book called "Manifesto of a Communist Society."
The entire book talked about the ideologies of Marx and Engel over communism. Marx regarded that the society comprised of various class struggles. The struggle present at that time was between Burgeoisie and Proletariats. The Burgoise were the group of people who had monetary power so much so, that they could own the factors of production. Proletariates on the other hand were the group of people who didn't have enough monetary value and had to work for the burgeoisie. He accepted that material productions wre important for the survival of the humans, that it paved way for technoligical improvement and division of labour. But he criticized capitalsim as another societal structure where the dominant was controlling the dominated.
He viewed the system as the Burgeoisie owning the factors of production and getting enough money. The Proletariats on the other hand were the human capital that worked diligently long hours and were payed only a small amount out of the profits, just to help them lead a good life. The income given to the proletariats was not at all insync with the amount of hours they put in to get the work done. The income was distributed unequally. This was to ensure that the proletariats continue to work for the burgeoisie. However he knew that it was time before the proletariats would overthrow the burgeoisie and there was yet another class struggle where the proletariats would for a structure suitable to them, a structure where things would be distributed equally.
