PART A
You have been tasked by the Director of HR with developing the training for a new Human Resources Assistant. at a manufacturing company. The Director of HR has asked you to do small project.
This employee will be supporting a Manager and two HR Consultants by doing the following:
· reception duties
· looking after all paperwork
· formatting union contracts and
· providing general admin support to the department.
You are tasked to develop and write 5 different objectives for the training.
Each objective must be measured by the end of training by the trainer.
Each objective must be divided into the parts of performance, condition and
criterion using the following format for each:
Objective 1: write out your objective out in full; - then separate it into the following parts:
Performance 1: write the performance portion of your objective
Condition 1: write the condition portion of your objective
Criterion 1: write the criterion portion of your objective
Please note that each objective, including all 3 parts of that objective, must be
completely different from each other objective. This means that you should not repeat conditions and/or criteria.
PART B
The Director of HR has tasked you with some research as the organization is going to be embarking on some company-wide training initiatives.
1. The CEO has heard of the terms "on-the-job training" and "off-the-job training". How might you define them, and could you provide an example for each?
2. As part of her presentation to the Sr. Leaders meeting, the Director of HR has asked you to describe things sources of data for your ANALYSIS, provide a list of training METHODS, and how you might EVALUATE the training in these company-wide initiatives.
3. She has also asked you to describe 3 advantages and 3 disadvantages of asynchronous and synchronous methods for any new training programs.
Part A Objectives of training,
1. Candidate should be equipped with best communication skills to help candidate to effectively communicate and transact on behalf of company by training him on information and interpersonal communication skills courses.

Part B
"on-the-job training"
This a training method where students are engaged in workshops and fields to master their skills since they work as they learn. Example is where aeronautical Engineering students repairs planes in hangars. This method is effective because students get all skills and practically implement their knowledge.
"off-the-job training
Training method where students are involved in theory and class work and online engagement with lecturers.This method is theory and science involving where teachers input knowledge without showing practically how things are done. Example is when nursing students are in class before starting to train in laboratories.
sources of data for your ANALYSIS
Data analysis is special tool in training since it helps to interpret collected data from fields and other sources and helps to develop hypothesis and recommendations and come up with strategies and policies. we have qualitative method which entails collecting actual data through picture, recorded audio and observation. We also have quantitative that involves grouping of population to study behaviors and characteristics to deliver interpretation and use the information in different aspects in management and making policies.
sources of data analysed in this work are journals and publishing and other online media which helps to understand diversity of human resource management.

EVALUATE the training in these company-wide initiatives.
Every company has different initiative to train its employees and equip them with the best knowledge in the cheapest means possible. The above methods best suits different companies depending on technological level and how best company is equipped and can maintain a fluent training method to employees without incurring much costs.
3 Advantages of asynchronous
This is a training method where both teacher and students engage online but at their convenient time and get in touch and feedback. Trainer issues notes and instructions at his own time while students can login at different time and learn.
Convenient- no specific time for both parties to be online.
Self own place and time- you learn and train at your time and private place
Student control of their learning- everyone plan when to get online and study
3 Disadvantages of asynchronous
No instant feedback- since they are not online same time, feedback is delayed.
There is no personal interaction- it reduces the aspect of connecting to the other person
Lacks motivation- loneliness may reduce motivation to learn
3 Advantages of synchronous
This platform is open to both parties been online and active together.
Immediate feedback- there is exchange of information immediately
Convenient and effective- saves time and delays since all parties connect and brief each other and log out after they get information.
Cost effective- it helps to pass information to all without them moving, travelling and boarding in schools.
3 Disadvantages of synchronous
Requires high fast internet- this is organizational challenge since its very expensive to maintain such network
Need for strategic planning- the training department need to be smart or else they will fail
Time barriers. some times regions time zone differs and may not be convenient to all staff and trainers
