I have observed/ experienced diversity in the work place at Marriott hotel as the organisation has policy of diversity and inclusion since a long time. Diversity and inclusion is practiced in recruitment and hiring, training , retention and retirement benefits are all developed considering the values of diversity and inclusiveness. The company has programs like Serve 360, "Unity and family" , take care program initiatives that are to focus on the principles of diversity and inclusion. The company emphasises on cultural diversity, hiring people with disabilities and across age groups and gender as part of its diversity program. The company strives to contribute in different areas through its workplace initiatives and customer interactions through its Serve 360 programs. Marriott at workplace has an important place in developing leadership programs for women and expects to achieve parity by 2025. It has problems for building in Diversity of suppliers and giving opportunities to several groups on the merit of their work and services.
