Institutional ethics committe(IEC)and Internal review board(IRB) is a independent body consituted of mediacl,non-medical,scientific and non-scentific members whose responsibility is to ensure the protection of rights,safety and well-being of human subjects involved in the trail by,among other things,reviewing,approving and providing continuing review of trail protocol and amendments.
