What role does Institutional review board (IRB) play in ethical research?
Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a committe or a administrative body. This body makes sure that all the research which is conducted are ethical in nature. Its main role is to protect human reserch subjects from psychological or physical harm which may be potentially caused by research studies. Its responsisbilities are to review all the research which involves human participants. The board, reserves th right to approve, reject or provide modifications if required to a research study.
