The different ways
controlling administrative agencies are as
follows:
- Control by the internal administrative: The
internal superiors can control the functioning of the
administrative agencies and exercise considerable power on
them.
- Control of the parliament: The control of the
parliament is extremely high on the administrative agencies. They
can regulate the working of the agencies by a great measure.
- Political control: The other parties that are
not in power can also control the administrative agencies. The
other political parties keep a check on the working on the agencies
and report as soon as they go haywire.
- Tribunals: There is an external control on the
administrative agencies by the tribunals. The tribunals keep a
check on the agencies and keep on reporting about them in their
external reports.
- Watchdog institutions: There are external
institutions that keep a check on the working of the agencies.
These agencies are called the watchdogs who ensure that the
agencies are following the rules and regulations and not doing
anything wrong.
- Judicial control: Agencies also follow under
the eyes of the law and the judiciary can exercise control over the
agencies. The court can exercise jurisdiction over the
administrative agencies.
