How have the powers of the executive expanded since the founding? To what extent do you think this expansion is good or bad, and why?
Power of Executive (President ) had expanded since the foundation of the constitution . Now there has been less restriction which can be understand because of reason America's growth as a nation, its emergence as a dominant actor in international politics, various acts of legislation that have Passed giving new authority to the president.Led this alongwith reasons given below .

Most important powers of Executive The Constitution explicitly assigns the president the power to sign or veto legislation, command the armed forces, ask for the written opinion of their Cabinet, convene or adjourn Congress, grant reprieves and pardons, and receive ambassadors.
Bad / Good expansion of Executive power :-
The exapansion of power of the executive has some good effect like the Executive can pass law easily and without hurdle make country run, enact law for welfare of socity .But it is also bad as it will be the dominance of executive over country too much and lessening the power of opposition and the public which may cause country to face global issues .
