Undue influence arises from limited situations whereby a person is so influenced by another that the person’s judgment is not their own. Notably, the presumption of undue influence does not apply to a spousal relationship. Our textbook cites “Despite advances in gender equality, women remain vulnerable to pressure from their spouses.” Do you believe that a presumption of undue influence should exist between husband-wives or long-term partners?
Yes,There is definetly a undue influence of Males over Female's decisiveness in most of fields including Spousal relationship as well. Males somehow still interfere in between the decision making of the females. This advancement of the society still doesn't provide that freedom to females so that they can decide what's good for their future.
The primary reason why Male's want to interfere in every decision of Male's is that they somehow take Freedom of Female's to decide what they do as a Ego problem. They didn't want that female' might rise to a new level.
But according to me their is no need of having someone's influence over someone's decision because this situation might cause a problem to the relationship as well. They both need to share their thoughts over the issue which is good but forcing someone to do something is wrong. This might lead to a confrontation between the pair for being too possessive over any decision.
