IT Industry is the industry in which when more staff to a project is added, it can lead to extension of the project. Because, when a software is made or developed. And, later if it goes for quality testing which leads to more time and efforts, and eventually leads to extension of project time lines.

However, if a software development project is kept till the first phase keeping the quality of the product intact. And, not sending the software for quality testing. It leads to delivering the project within the prescribed time line.
