TOTAL PEOPLE AFFECTED : 60,607
IN PENNSYLVANIA-considering the last 3 years from 2014-2016,because the resource is updated only upto 2016year.
IN 2014,
the prevalence rate are the following
no.of people living with diagnosed HIV | rate of people living with dignosed HIV/10000 | men and women with HIV in % | black people with HIV /hispanic/latino/white |
33,593 | 309 | 71 and 29 respectively | 48,16,30,30 percentages respectively |
incidences
in 2015-1170
per 10,000 people: 11 people are newly diagnosed
IN 2016
newly diagnosed: 991
MORTALITY RATE
in 2014- 620
rate of deathsof people diagnosed per 100000- 6 people
THERE ARE MANY CLASSIFICATIONS TO STUDY THE MORBDITY AND MORTALITY.
As a whole comparison,
if we take the comparison between pennsylvania and united states. 3% difference for the newly diagnosed HIV
The statistics as %
76.4% diagnosed with AIDS In united states at the same time 26% in pennsylvania, on the other hand the death rate is 23.6% and 26% respectively.
The spread occur by sexual contact,by sharing needle .The percentage is much higher when comparing to these.so the transmission percentage is differ as per the source they will get.
