Describe the elements of the formal planning process with supporting evidences
here I am going to describe about what formal planning is along with the elements of formal planning process with supporting evidence.
First time going to describe about what formal planning is as formal planning process is used for the for the strategic planning which is very helpful and useful for the business organisations in the market.
Formal planning process includes five steps such as :-
1) SETTING UP OF OBJECTIVE FOR LONGER PERIOD :- the objectives are set for the longest period in the formal planning process as the formal planning process is done for the external environment of the organisation.
2) ALTERNATIVE STRATEGY GENERATION :- the future is really uncertain so planning is done for one project and there are some alternative planets which are done for the same project as to make sure when in the case of any uncertainty the alternate strategy can be used.
3) EVALUATION OF THOSE ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES :- those alternative strategies are then evaluated under the high skilled managers to make sure that there is no unnecessary mess with the organisation and the strategies.
4) MONITORING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGIES :- after the evaluation of alternative strategies the managers tends to monitor the implementation of the strategy in the organisation and to see whether the strategies are yielding good results to the organisations or not.
5) OBTAINING THE HIGH LEVEL OF COMMITMENT :- once the strategies are implemented then the managers try to obtain the high level of commitment from the stakeholders of the company to make sure that their project are the planning has been done correctly and effectively.
The main elements of the formal planning process requires the resources and skilled managers as those resources and skilled manager play very significant role when it comes to the formal planning process.
