Describe the mandated ratios and supporting rationale.
Mandated ratio:
The mandated ratio for the nurse to the patient is to have control over the maximum about of patients which a nurse can take care of during a shift. It promotes the quality of care for the patient and also benefits the nursing team. The nursing staff can reduce the medical error, the length of stay, the mortality of the patient, infections related to healthcare and also reduction in the care cost of the patient.
Supporting rationale:
The nursing supporting rationale is a purpose which is meant to carry out a nursing intervention. Nursing supporting rationale is stated just next to the nursing interventions in a nursing care plan.

Influenza vaccination is the mandatory vaccination programs in the healthcare centres, which is very effective in reducing influenza. Therefore, mandatory policy of vaccination in healthcare centers helps to reduce the illness and absent of the provider, this would further reduce the mortality and morbidity rate in the patient.
