Mental illness are health disorders associated with changes in thinking patterns,emotions,day to day behaviour,it could cause feeling of not able to think clearly,extreme mood swings etc.,its examples are related to various types of behaviours which can be extreme,such as depression or extreme anxiety behaviour,fear etc.These illnesses could be caused by genetic or hereditary factors,it could be due to an incident,it could be due to factors surrounding a person,chemical imbalances.

Vice videos has covered various aspects of mental illnesses and how it affects one 's life,how be it teens or older aged people,everyone who have mental illnesses is fighting an uphill battle and how it can lead to a very difficult life,videos also cover new found therapies to deal with such illnesses such as VR therapy.These videos also showcases how there is lot to be done on part of society and government,be it in terms of compassion or awareness amongst general masses so that these people can have support in their fight against mental illnesses.

We can start by doing our bit such as ensuring that we see mental illness as what it is that is illness because a lot of people are hesistant to come forward in early stage of their disease owing to what the world will think of them,will they get necessary support or not,another thing we can do is to start making our community spaces safe and welcoming for such community members,finally governments need to do its bit on creating awareness,providing support and treatment to these individuals.
